We all know what it’s like to feel stressed – being under pressure is a normal part of life. But becoming overwhelmed by stress can lead to mental and physical health problems or make existing problems worse.
Many people are more stressed now than ever due to the worry of the Coronavirus pandemic. Feeling stressed and worried is perfectly understandable as we are living through a situation that we have never faced before.
We may be feeling more emotions than we did prior to the pandemic, which could include anxiety, irritability, sadness, confusion or anger. As we are hopefully coming out of lockdown in the next few months, you may also be feeling hopeful for the future but also apprehensive about getting back to normal. You may even have all of these roller coaster of emotions in the same day. Remember this is perfectly normal, so try not to be too hard on yourself.
